My prices are kept as low as possible, to enable customers to make regular appointments, rather than leaving long  gaps between appointments, allowing  the dogs coat to become filthy and matted, which is then harder for me to groom, and far more uncomfortable for the dog.

As I work alone, the grooming parlour will be closed when I take a break, so please remember to book early, and do not leave things to the last moment, to avoid disappointment if you need your dog groomed for a particular date. 

I appreciate it, if you call me, if you could make it during the working day Monday - Friday, as I do not always have my diary to hand in the evenings and at weekends.

Grooming consists of bathing your dog in a suitable shampoo, thoroughly grooming to remove dead coat and any tangles and knots, and clipping trimming and styling the coat.

I will normally trim your dog in the style that is usually accepted for the breed, but I am perfectly happy to do a custom trim, if you prefer your dog to be trimmed in a different style, just let me know what you want when you drop your dog off.

Often if owners can not find the time for grooming between appointments, it is preferable to have the dog trimmed in a shorter than normal style, as it then requires less upkeep, and is more comfortable for the dog, than leaving it to become knotted.

I reserve the right to clip a dogs coat off short, if I feel that attempting to groom it will cause the dog undue stress or discomfort due to the condition of the coat.

Hand stripping is available, but as it is a far more time consuming process, the price is AT LEAST twice the price you would expect to pay for  the same dog to be clipped.

Due to a back injury, I regret I am no longer able to groom particularly large or heavy dogs, as I am no longer able to lift them or manoeuvre them, if you are not sure if your dog comes into this category please call me to discuss it.

I only work from my home and do not go out to work on dogs in their owners home, and I am sorry, but I do not have a collection and delivery service.
